Three City departments - Planning, Development Services and Building - will assist you in the building process. Please contact each department individually before you begin work. The Planning Division assures compliance with the zoning code, the Development Services Division provides engineering review, and the Building Division assures that buildings meet applicable building codes. We will also rely on input from other agencies, such as Clackamas County Fire District No.1 and the Oregon Dept. of Transportation, to assure that your project is safe, well served by public facilities, and a valuable addition to the Oregon City community.
