After working hard to address financial difficulties this year, Clackamas Heritage Partners, the management company that oversaw the operations, ultimately closed the doors in September 2009 to the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and The Museum of the Oregon Territories.
In April of this year, the Oregon City Commission approved the hiring of a third-party consultant to conduct an operations and financial analysis of Clackamas Heritage Partners (CHP). CHP manages the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, Museum of the Oregon Territory, and the Stevens-Crawford House, all in Oregon City.
