Electric Vehicle Charging Station

With concerns about global warming and rising fuel costs, city leaders and Oregon City residents are looking for more economical and sustainable transportation options.

The Electric Vehicle Charging Station is open and free to the public. In 2008 the City unveiled its plug-in vehicle charging station as part of Portland General Electric’s new network of charging stations in the region. The City of Oregon City joined forces with PGE to install the station to help develop and test the transportation infrastructure needed to support plug-in vehicles. The Oregon City Charging Station is located on the east side of Main Street between 12th and 13th Streets and can charge two vehicles at a time.
