This hillside failed on or about January 4, 2007, a stop work order and corrective action was posted by the Engineering Department on January 5, 2007. The City received no response and eventually referred this issue to code enforcement. Code Enforcement issued two separate violation notices and later issued a court summons for the property owner. After a failed appearance and one set over, this matter came before the court on October 4, 2007. 

The Court entered and interim order, ordering the owner to immediately install proper erosion control measures, meet with the city engineer for corrective action and a timeline for completion and to implement plan. A review before the court is scheduled for late November.
