This particular property has been considered to hold one of the worst houses in Oregon City. This house was occupied by drug users and thieves, which created a fearful living environment for neighbors. The poor condition of the house was due to the leaky roof, no electric service for two years, raw sewage backed up in the bathtub and toilet, drug usage and garbage. As a result of the deplorable condition of the house and property, the case was heard by the Municipal Court. The property owner was required to put the property up for sale or tear the house down. The homeowner boarded up the home and put the property up for sale. After additional review by the municipal court the homeowner was ordered to demolish all structures on the property.

This matter came before the Municipal Court on August 2, 2007 for final review. The property owner was ordered to demolish the structures, including shed and garage, and clear the property of all debris. A demo permit was obtained from the building department.
