City Recorder of the Year goes to Nancy Ide, City Recorder for Oregon City
City of Oregon City

It was officially announced Friday evening from OAMR President, Ruth Post, that our very own Nancy Ide is the recipient of OAMR's "City Recorder of the Year" award for 2010.  Several nomination letters were sent in along with several pictures of Nancy Ides’ accomplishments during this past year.  Nancy was selected from a nomination pool of 11 candidates from all over the state of Oregon.

The Mayor of Oregon City, Alice Norris stated it so well in her nomination letter:

"It is with great pleasure that I write this nomination letter featuring our outstanding City Recorder, Nancy Ide.  The City of Oregon City has made exceptional strides in the last year to become more accessible to our citizens and to be a sustainable community.  Nancy Ide has gone above and beyond her daily duties as City Recorder, and has played a key role in our City's improvements.  As we moved into our new LEED-certified city hall last fall, Nancy was instrumental in organizing our new technologies, our records and our public outreach.  Because of her positive attitude, accomplishments, and exemplary service, Nancy Ide would be the perfect City Recorder of the Year!"
