Downtown Oregon City’s signature event on July 28th returns for a third year with more music, arts, food and beverage tasting mixed together on Main Street.
Oregon City’s upcoming First City Celebration on Saturday July 28th in downtown Oregon City celebrates summer with a day-long lineup of musicians, 40 artists lining the center of Main Street, shopping, wine tasting, and downtown dining.
Main Street between 9th and 7th will be closed to traffic along with 8th Street for the Saturday July 28th First City Celebration Street Festival from 11 am to 9 pm. This event is free and open to the public.

This year, the First City Celebration Street Festival is produced by the non-profit Main Street Oregon City with support from Stein Oil, Wildish Construction, Bank of the West, The Oregonian and the Oregon City Civic Improvement Trust.
In previous years, the First City Celebration in Downtown Oregon City attracted more than 3,500 visitors, artists from around the region and wineries from the Willamette Valley.
This year, as a street festival style event, all those ingredients will be mixed together on Main Street from 9th to 7th Street. Free parking is available on the street, in the municipal lot at 13th Street and by the Municipal Elevator on 7th Street.
