The Urban Renewal Commission has authorized the use of funds from the Downtown Urban Renewal District for two grant programs:

1. Adaptive Reuse-Rehab Grant—for projects that are mixed-use interior rehabilitation for commercial buildings within the District.

2. Storefront Improvement Grant—for exterior projects on commercial buildings within the District. Projects must be visible from the street, but does have some exclusions.
