The Veteran’s Career & Benefits Fair is designed to provide Veterans/Service Members and their spouses the opportunity to meet with service providers and employers in a single location. Throughout the day we are expecting 1500+ participants from throughout Clackamas, Multnomah, Washington, and Clark counties. This event is open to all Veterans/Service Members but the Oregon National Guard 3-116th CAV BN will be the focus of this event. Surveys show that many of our Guard members are under-employed right now and are in need of services as they transition home from service in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Why a Career & Benefits Fair?
The Veteran’s Career & Benefits Fair is designed to provide service members and their spouses the opportunity to meet with employers and service providers in a single location. Throughout the day, be ready to interview these men and women who have: passed criminal background checks, met educational requirements, passed physical fitness standards, demonstrated leadership skills, are professional and responsible, have had technical and trade training, can handle stress and timelines, are team players and have an incredible amount of pride and a positive attitude. The event will be held in conjunction with a 60-day Yellow Ribbon reintegration event of the Oregon National Guard.
