City Manager appoints new Finance Director

The Finance department provides financial statements and supporting schedules that are compliant with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAP). and meet the requirements of the standards as prescribed by the Secretary of State.

David Frasher, City Manager of Oregon City, has appointed Wyatt Parno to serve as Oregon City’s new Finance Director.

Mr. Parno replaces Oregon City’s former Finance Director, David Wimmer, who retired at the end of June after nineteen years of service in the position. Mr. Parno served as Finance Manager for the City of Gresham from 2007-2012. Mr. Parno is a licensed CPA and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Portland State University. He was formerly the Finance Director for the City of Wood Village, Oregon, and has experience as both an auditor and senior accountant in the private sector.
