Oregon City Planning Commission Seeks New Member
The City of Oregon City is recruiting
a volunteer to serve on the seven member Planning Commission.
The primary responsibility of the Planning
Commission is to review local land-use plans and
advise the City
Commission on matters pertaining
to land-use, transportation and development issues.
The focus of the Planning Commission
is on planning and development in Oregon City and its urban
growth boundary. The Planning Commission keeps the Comprehensive
Plan current, implements ordinances, prepares legislation,
reviews the Capital Improvement plan and makes recommendations
to the City and other public authorities.
Individuals with an interest or knowledge
in land-use issues are encouraged to apply. The Commission
is required to represent a wide distribution of interests
with no more than two members engaged in buying or selling
real estate or engaged in the same kind of business.
Citizens are encouraged to apply.
