Read and complete required application materials as required by each positing on the Job Openings page.

Faxed applications are NOT accepted; all of the City's job recruitments are to be done on-line.

Allow 2 weeks from date of closing to hear from us regarding status of your application. You will be notified of your status via mail or telephone.

There may be one or several interviews dependent upon the position applied for.

If you are chosen to fill a position your employment will be contingent upon passing a background check per City Ordinance 01-1031. As a rule this form will be given to you only when you are a finalist except for Police positions.

You may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test dependent upon the position applied for.

You may be required to pass a pre-employment Functional Capacity Test dependent upon the position applied for.
