Seasonal Park Maintenance Worker

Temporary/Seasonal

Salary: $11.00/hr. This is a non-union position with no benefits.

Hours: Temporary/Seasonal positions are from 3 to 6 months. Work shifts will vary, including weekend shifts.

Duties will include mowing, weeding, edging, blowing, irrigation, landscaping and general park maintenance grounds keeping. Trim shrubs, hedges and trees. Application of fertilizer as needed.

Requires the ability to operate and maintain common grounds and landscaping maintenance tools, maintain safe environments, communicate courteously and cooperatively with other staff and the general public and work in an individual situation with minimum supervision. Must have a clean driving record.

Process will consist of screening applicants based on experience and training. The most qualified applicants will be invited to an oral interview. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check.
