Computers and Wi-Fi in the Library: The Oregon City Public Library offers free access to the Internet, word processing, and Wi-Fi. Printing cost per page: B&W 10 cents, Color 25 cent.

These can be used in the library or at home using your library card and PIN numbers. You must be a cardholder of Oregon City Public Library to use the Oregon Career Information System.
Learning Express Library: A comprehensive database with e-book study guides and practice exams for GED, SAT, career-specific exams, and many more. Also has helpful information on a wide variety of career and workplace subjects: choosing a great career, job hunting, interviewing, networking, writing your resume and cover letter, dealing with coworkers and achieving success on the job.
Oregon Career Information System: A terrific database that offers information for job hunting, career exploration and education. Gives information on careers and their Oregon requirements and outlook, colleges that offer training and degrees, and financial aid information. A new feature Find a Job and Keep it includes resumes, interviewing and other topics for career success.
Books and E-Books
Library2Go: LINCC cardholders can download e-books, audiobooks, and videos. Some of the e-books and audiobooks are about business and career success, including books on job interviews, creating resumes, and cover letters. Most can be transferred to other devices for use away from the computer. We are happy to assist you if you have difficulties!
Learning Express Library: Contains nearly 200 e-book career guides and test-taking preparation guides.
Occupational Outlook Handbook: Information on more than 300 jobs including projected growth. Also available online at www.bls.gov/oco/

Learning Express Library database: Training courses on creating resumes and cover letters. At the finish of the course you will have a document to print, save in PDF or copy to Word. Log in with your library card # and PIN, create a new account, pick Job Search and Workplace Skills from the left, click onto Job Search, Resumes and Networking, and then Creating Great Resumes and Cover Letters.
