The Annual Open Air Antique Fair is this Sunday from 8am-4pm, between 7th and 10th Streets. This family-friendly, is a one-day event sponsored by the Oregon City Chamber of Commerce and features 100 antique and collectible dealers.

The event draws dealers from Oregon, Washington, California and Arizona bringing vintage clothing, depression glass, toys, yard and garden collectibles, tools, records, books, furniture and much more. An appraiser will be available during select hours to provide a “for fun” evaluation of your treasures for $5 per item (limit of 3 items per person).

Enjoy live music and food from one of the restaurants and make a day of it. There will be a new special charm for sale as part of the “Oregon City is CHARMing” bracelet program. What piece of history will you take home?

VOLUNTEERS DESPERATELY NEEDED

• No experience necessary
• Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your shift (check in at Information Booth at 8th and Main)

Positions include:

• Traffic Control at 7th and Railroad
  Your job is to allow only those vehicle with permits to enter onto Railroad Avenue at that location and assist motorists with directions. We will provide you a safety vest, walkie-talkie, chair, water and a treat for your service. A barricade will be located there to prevent motorists from entering.
  The shifts available are:
  10:00 am - 12:00 pm
  12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
  4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
• Large Item pick up Coordinator at 8th and Railroad
  Using walkie-talkie, confirm with Block Captains, etc. that there is space to send through a vehicle to pick up large antique items purchased. We will provide you a safety vest, walkie-talkie, chair, water and a treat for your service.
  The shift available is:
  12:30 pm - 4:00 pm
• Food Court Assistance
  We will provide the supplies for wiping down dining tables, keeping up with garbage, etc.
  The shifts available are:
  11:00 am - 2:00 pm
  2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
• Appraisal Ticket Sales
  The shift available is:
  1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
