Statement of Significance: For many years, this home was owned by Tom P. and Susannah Randall, although originally it was the Gillet home. Augustine Gillet, wife of Ariel Randall, was the mother of Tom Randall. Tom Randall was superintendent of schools and served as county recorder for several terms. He was also partners with Thomas F. Ryan in the very successful real estate and insurance business -- Ryan and Randall. The house is significant because of its age, style and original owners.
