Narrative of Incident:
On March 25, 2004 at 12:28 a.m., the alarm company Sonitrol reported a burglary in progress occurring at the old Oregon City High School located at 1306 12th Street. Officers arrived at the scene and took three male juveniles into custody who were exiting through a back door. The juveniles were taken to the Oregon City Police Department and interviewed.
The old high school had been burglarized twice in April and an estimated $9,000 worth of property had been stolen and/or damaged during those two incidents. Damage to the old high school for the third burglary/criminal mischief on May 25, 2004 was estimated over $3,000.
During the interviews of the juveniles, they admitted to committing the two previous burglaries. Two of the juveniles were charged with three counts of Burglary II, two counts of Criminal Mischief I and one count of Theft I. The third juvenile was charged with one count of Burglary I and Criminal Mischief I. All three juveniles were lodged at Donald E.
