Narrative of Incident:

On June 12, 2004 at approximately 11:05 p.m. an explosion occurred at 1367 Molalla Avenue, Oregon City, Dales Auto Wrecking. When officers and fire personnel arrived on scene they located an unoccupied Plymouth van parked in the lot with extensive damage to the rear passenger side. The van belonged to the wrecking yard.

 

Oregon City Police contacted the Clackamas County Bomb Squad to investigate the scene. Evidence of a pipe bomb was located around the vehicle. It was determined that a pipe bomb had been set off under the rear of the vehicle. All evidence of the pipe bomb was seized and sent to the Oregon State Police Crime Laboratory for analysis of possible fingerprints.
