Narrative of Incident:
On July 30, 2004, at about 11:40pm Oregon City Police Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the parking lot of 102 S. McLoughlin. Officers discovered that 42 year old Linda Henry of Canby had held James Bliss at gunpoint in his residence while looking for her boyfriend Christopher Jordan. Mr. Bliss, who is confined to a wheelchair, told officers he was held against his will for over two hours. When he attempted to flee Ms. Henry fired several shots in the air. This occurred in the parking lot of 102 S. McLoughlin. Ms. Henry then drove to 722 5th Street where she located Christopher Jordan. Ms. Henry fired one shot at Mr. Jordan prior to fleeing. Mr. Jordan was not injured. A short time later Ms. Henry was located at her residence in Canby.. Officers seized a 9mm semi automatic hangun from Ms. Henry. She was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on the above charges. Total bail is $647,500.
