In order to be employed as a Reserve Police Officer in the State of Oregon, and City of Oregon City, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• United States citizen, at least 21 years of age at the time of appointment; • High school graduate or equivalent; • Free of any criminal convictions, except for minor traffic violations; • Possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon Driver License and have a good driving record; • Be capable of passing fitness, medical, vision, hearing examinations, etc.; • Pass an extensive background investigation; • Pass a psychological evaluation.
