Police Record Specialists are non-sworn personnel who are responsible for data entry,
maintenance and retrieval of police reports. In 2003, the Records Unit (comprised
of 3 Police Record Specialists and the Records Manager) processed approximately 5,350
case reports and 6,115 traffic citations. The Records Unit assists with citizen
inquiries both in person and on the telephone.
Types of Records
Police Record Request Info
Vehicle tow releases are available 24 hours/7 days a week - fee of $150.00
cash or money order.
Police report requests are available in person during normal business
hours - fee of $10 per report in cash or money order
Mail to Oregon City Police Department, Attention:
Records Unit, together with a stamped, self-addressed return envelope, and
the fee of $10 per report in the form of a money order, or certified check
NO personal checks will be accepted.
NOTE: If an investigation/court
action of the case is in progress, the report is not releasable until
the case is closed/completed.
