Bids for the construction of the "2008 Water System Improvements Project" will be received on Tuesday, May 27, 2008. The Work to be done under this Contract consists of the following improvements:
Construct approximately 500 LF of 12 water main and appurtenant items along King Elementary School.
Construct approximately 1,100 LF of 12 water main and appurtenant items along King Street and Woodlawn Avenue.
Construct approximately 800 LF of 6 and 8 water main and appurtenant items along 3rd Avenue and Hedges Street.
Furnish and install a pressure reducing valve station with telemetry along 3rd Avenue.
Construct approximately 180 LF of 6 water main and appurtenant items along 10th Street.
Construct approximately 250 LF of 10 HDPE water main within the Newell Overlook Apartment complex.
Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans.
