The
new Oregon City Train Station (ORC) began passenger train
service on Friday, April 16th, 2004 following
a dedication and grand opening celebration at the station.
The
train station platform is located at 1757 Washington
Street directly across from the End of the Oregon Trail
Interpretive Center. The
new Oregon City stop is an addition to Amtrak's Cascade
train service that currently links Seattle, Tacoma and
several smaller Washington cities to Portland, Salem,
Eugene and Albany, Oregon. The Coast Starlight Trains
as well as the Amtrak Thruway Motorcoaches are not scheduled
to stop at ORC.
