Beginning Sunday, November 1, 2009, the Oregon City Public Works Department will begin cleaning and video inspecting the sanitary and storm sewers in Downtown Oregon City. This work is being performed at night and the early morning (10:30 pm – 8:00 am) to help avoid unnecessary disruption to businesses and motorists.

The Oregon City sandbag station opened on October 14, 2009. The station contains sand, sandbags, shovels, and a bagging station, and is available 24 hours a day at 122 S. Center Street, Oregon City.
Development Services, within the Public Works Department, Engineering Group, provides the professional engineering services and consultation to various City departments and the general public for private development.
