The City of Oregon City applied for and received a Transportation Growth Management (TGM) grant to complete a Transportation System Plan (TSP) update. The City's current plan was adopted in 2001 and needs to be updated due to changes resulting from new state and regional TSP requirements, completion of many key transportation projects, added Urban Growth Boundary areas, new Urban Reserves, population growth, the adoption of the 2004 Oregon City Comprehensive Plan, and new policy direction provided by the Metro 2035 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP).
