Roadway Excavation & Asphalt Cement Paving Operations

Project:  Warner Milne Road Improvements Project (Oregon City)
Location:  Warner Milne Road from Molalla Avenue to Beavercreek Road
When:               Tuesday, July 6, 2010, through Saturday, August 7, 2010
Working Hours:    7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday

NOTE:

• The approximate thirty (30) days excavation/paving operations are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday July 6th through Saturday August 7th .
• The paving operations are weather dependent.
• Working hours will be from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday.

  Traffic Control:
  

  • During this phase of the project Warner Milne Road will be one way in the westbound direction from Molalla Avenue to Beavercreek Road. 
  • Warner Milne eastbound traffic will be detoured at Beavercreek Road.
  • Access to driveways on Warner Milne Road will be maintained to the maximum extent possible, but will be temporarily disrupted during work immediately adjacent to each driveway.
  • Flaggers will be controlling traffic at driveways during the excavation and paving operations.
  • Flaggers will also assist with pedestrians access to business and residents.
  • Temporary signage showing “ONE WAY” will be placed at each driveway directing traffic in the westbound direction on Warner Milne Road.

  Construction Operations:

  1. Core out existing road structural section south side of Warner Milne.
  2. Place aggregate base and compact.
  3. Place asphalt pavement in two lifts with compaction operations between the lifts.
  4. Core out existing road structural section north side of Warner Milne.
  5. Place aggregate base and compact.
  6. Place asphalt pavement in two lifts with compaction operations between the lifts.
  7. Place asphalt pavement final lift.
