Public Works goes GREEN with fleet expansion. Two bicycles have been purchased for summer sidewalk inventory field work. Rather than equipping seasonal workers hired for the project with standard vehicles, bicycles were chosen to be more effective and efficient for the work as well as reducing green house gas emissions. The bicycles will also be used for future local Public Works needs.
