    The attached memo provides an update on the project timeline and details of events that have affected the completion of the Warner Milne Road project. The project experienced delays totaling 98 calendar days that were justifiable under the ODOT Standard Specifications. The projected completion date is August 23, 2010.     Construction Update: July 1, 2010:
    Roadway Excavation & Asphalt Cement Paving Operations will tentatively begin Tuesday July 6th and continue through Saturday August 7th. The paving operations are weather dependent. Working hours will be from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday.

    Construction Update: June 18th, 2010:
    Contractor building rain garden improvements adjacent to Walgreen's site and replacing culvert east of Clackamas Federal Credit Union. Final work will include total pavement reconstruction on Warner Milne Road from Molalla Avenue to Beavercreek Road. Construction expected through July 2010.
    Construction Update: March 17th-23nd, 2010:
    Partial closure of Molalla Ave.and Warner-Milne Road intersection will occur on Wednesday March 17th, 2010 and continue through Tuesday March 23nd, 2010. The Molalla Ave. southbound right turn lane will be closed at the intersection of Warner-Milne Road.  Molalla Ave. will continue to have southbound through lane open but expect delays.  The road closure is required to allow for the installation of concrete curbs and asphalt paving in this area of the project.
     
    IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED AS OF January 27th, 2010:
    • 1,550  feet of 12" Sanitary sewer pipe;  
    • 7 - Sanitary sewer manholes;
    • 800 feet of 8" Ductile iron water main;
    • New sanitary sewer laterals;
    • 500 feet of 16" Ductile iron water main;
    • New water service connections;
    • 1 - 72" Pollution control manhole;
    • Installation of 400 feet of 12" storm sewer in Warner Milne Road near the Molalla Avenue intersection;
    • Permanent trench and landscaping restorations;
    • Temporary traffic signal;
    • 800 feet of conduit for traffic signal inteconnection;
    • Installation of signal pole foundations at Warner Milne Road/Molalla Avenue intersection;
    • Private utility relocations.
     
    CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE:
    • The hours of construction are from 7 AM to 7 PM;
    • The construction is expected to be completed by July 31, 2010.

  • Warner Milne Road at Molalla Avenue Under Construction

     

    The City Commission of Oregon City awarded the project to Parker-Northwest Paving, Inc. out of Canby, Oregon. The work to be done under the contract includes realigning and improving the intersection of Molalla Avenue and Beavercreek Road; repaving Warner Milne Road from Molalla Avenue to Beavercreek Road; the installation of storm sewer pipe, water pipe, and sanitary sewer pipe and appurtant structures; and landscaping including a rain garden.

     PROJECT COMPONENTS:
    • Warner Milne Road / Molalla Avenue intersection realignment;
    • Underground public utilities improvements – sanitary, storm sewer and water systems;
    • Pavement rehabilitation - Warner Milne Road from Beavercreek Road to Molalla Avenue.
