AUGUST AND ERNESTINE SCHRAMM HOUSE c.1920 -- Statement of Significance: There is no data available on the Schramms. However, the Schramms sold the house to Ed and Cora Smith in 1923. Ed Smith was the son of carpenter Peter Smith and worked on the Willamette River as a logger for one of the mills. Later, the house was sold to Charles and Mary Bancke. The house is a typical Oregon City bungalow. In the NR District, it is classified as Compatible.
