This project enhanced and beautified a significant connector street and addressed pedestrian accessibility problems at key intersections.
Blighted Conditions:
- Incomplete sidewalks in poor condition and difficult to access
- Outdated utilities unreliable for local businesses and future development
Improvements:
- Replaced 2,200 feet of sidewalks and improved accessibility at crossings
- Planted 36 new street trees and 1,500 feet of landscaping designed to manage stormwater runoff
- Repaved over 1,100 feet of roadway
