Residents within the service area of the Libraries in Clackamas County (LINCC) consortium are eligible for a free library card.
Patrons outside Clackamas County pay an annual fee of $95 to get a library card. The $95 fee is waived for residents of these counties: Multnomah, Washington, Clark, Skamania, Klickitat, City of Camas (WA), Hood River, Woodland, and Yale (WA).
Requirements:
- Complete and submit a library card application at any LINCC Library. At the Oregon City location, applications are received and cards are issued at the Hello Desk and Children's Desk (for educators).
- Bring a Photo ID, such as a government-issued identification and something that shows your current address (piece of mail addressed to you, or a lease or sales agreement for your home, etc.)
- The co-signature of legal guardian is required for children under 13. The co-signer will also provide the identification and address verification needed. For questions about children's library cards visit our Kids' Cards FAQ.
