1015 6th Street
This one story bungalow sits under a front gable roof with open eaves, wide barge boards, and large knee brackets that penetrate the barge boards. A recessed porch is located at the southeast corner of the house, where the gable corner is supported by a large square column set on a solid balustrade. The house is clad above the fully developed water table with double drop siding, finished with corner moldings. The foundation is skirted with wider drop siding. The windows are primarily 1/1 double-hung wood sash with aluminum storm windows, but a large fixed pane with a five-pane transom exists at the porch. The windows typically feature board trim with narrow sills and small apron moldings. A small porch is located on the east side of the house, just north of a large brick chimney. This porch is covered by a shed roof extension of the main gable, supported by slender wood columns.
