1106 6th Street

This small one story house sits under a hip roof with a recessed porch running the full width of the north façade. A small hipped dormer is also present on this side, providing a limited amount of light and ventilation to the attic space. The house is entirely clad with beveled lap siding, and the front porch has been altered by the addition of wood latticework in the openings between the square columns. A small rectangular bay is present on the east side of the house, covered by the main hip. The hips feature open eaves with exposed rafter tails. The windows are primarily 1/1 double-hung wood sash with divided upper lights, but a limited number of wood sash sliding windows are also present in the house. The windows typically feature wide board trim on three sides with narrow sills.
