702 8th Street
This two story house sits under a truncated hip roof at the original portion of the house, which is now the western half of the house. The east half was added, and sits under a flat roof. The house is entirely clad with wood shingles, with a belt course separating the first and second floors in the western portion of the house. Above the belt course, the house is clad with a rectangular shingle pattern, while the pattern is staggered below the belt course. On the north side of the west portion of the house, a small hip roof supported by a pair of slender columns covers the main entry to the house. A small rectangular bay is located on the north end of the west façade. A rear entry, located on the east end of the house, is approached by a new wood deck. The windows in the house are all vinyl sash replacements of the original windows, and typically feature wide board trim. The original portion of the house has wide apron boards, while the addition does not.
