Oregon City Police Department

City of Oregon City

The Oregon City Police Department is a team of men and women dedicated to the safety of the community that is Oregon City.  We are an accredited police agency, made up of 44 sworn officers and 12 non-sworn support personnel.  In addition, the department is aided by a group of volunteers.  This includes reserve officers and others who help us with community events.

At any point in the day or night, there is a highly trained team of people ready to answer any call that comes in for help.  We value the people who make up our City and work very hard to provide the best police service that we can.

More than anything, we have found that our strength is our partnership with our community.  Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.  Please look around and see the different people and programs that make us work.  We are always looking for help, suggestions and critiques.

CSAF Design

CSAF was passed by the Oregon City Commission in May 2015. The temporary fee will pay for a new public safety and municipal court building located at the former Mt. Pleasant School property. It will include a modern police headquarters, municipal court, public meeting space and improvements to the existing community park on the property. The building will serve as a cornerstone of public safety within our community. Click here to read more or view the 3-minute video below:
