Volunteer Park Host Position

The City of Oregon City Parks Department accepts applications for volunteer park host positions year-round and positions are filled on an as-need basis.

General Park Host Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist park visitors as needed
  • Assist in maintaining park grounds
  • Cleaning restrooms
  • Keep sidewalks and walkways clear
  • Litter pick up and empty trash
  • Be observant of activities within the park that may require attention

Applicants must have good public relations skills for dealing with park users/the public.

The Park Host Volunteer Application and Park Host Manual can be downloaded below or picked up in person at the Parks Maintenance Office. A completed application and background check are required to be considered for Park Host opportunities. Positions are filled on an as-needed basis.
