HGWFNA is not an HOA, and is not a political group. HGWFNA is a forum for people in our neighborhood to build up and share concerns about community life. The City of Oregon City provides coordination for all neighborhood associations. There are no fees or dues, and everyone’s participation is completely voluntary.
The Steering Team is now formed to oversee the plans and activities of our NA. The HGWFNA would enjoy hearing from others interested in volunteering for leadership and supportive positions for our neighborhood. In order for us to sustain the HGWFNA, we will need people with gifts and talents to make a positive difference in our area. Please consider this opportunity to step forward with great ideas or to respond to requests and needs for assistance.
We Need Your Help
We are forming committees to be more specific in addressing and guiding our efforts. Three committees have been formed so far:
- Comprehensive Planning and Land Use – responds to requests from neighbors and builders who need the NA’s approval to develop their property.
- Programs and Speakers – seeks to provide relevant topics of interest at each meeting which will help families and individuals in our neighborhood.
- Social Events – will help us have fun as a neighborhood with engaging gatherings which will help us get to know each other better.
All these groups will need help if we are going to be effective in carrying out our purpose and serving the community in the best of ways. Please consider volunteering to help out. We promise it will not take much of your time. Send an email using the link below to get more information about becoming involved. We are all in this together. Thanks!
