Park Place Project Information
A new short walking and interpretive trail is being added to the existing forest at Park Place Park! This walking trail includes interpretive signage detailing significant trees and assemblages that were of importance to pioneers, settlement, and the environment. The project is being constructed by the Rivers of Life Center, in partnership with the Park Place Neighborhood Association and Oregon City Parks. This project is funded by a Metro Enhancement Grant that was awarded to the Park Place Neighborhood Association for the 2023-2024 grant cycle.
Progress
The walking trail is constructed. Stone, Stairs, and drainage areas have been added. The vegetation is still being removed and trimmed. Interpretive sign posts and benches have been added. The sign panels are in construction.
