Oregon City Public Works is committed to providing public education and outreach activities that help Oregon City residents understand the following topics:

  • Where their drinking water comes from and how it is treated.
  • What compounds are in the drinking water, where they come from, and how they can impact public health.
  • How everyday activities can affect water quality and provide guidance on steps residents can take to help protect our water resources.
  • The importance of source water protection, cross connection control, and water conservation.
  • Actions the city is taking to protect and improve water quality.
  • Oregon City continues to promote education & outreach on pollutant source control and a reduction of pollutants in stormwater discharges.
