2014 Memorial Day Celebration

SpeakerMountain View Cemetery's Annual Memorial Day Celebration began at 10 am on Monday, May 26, 2014. Light refreshments were served upon commencement of the ceremony.

Master of Ceremony was performed by David Bone of Hillside Funeral Chapel. We had approximately 300 attendees join us for the event. Reverend Dan Morrow with Oregon City's St. Episcopal Church performed invocation and benediction for the ceremony. Other participants included Oregon City High School JROTC who presented colors; Anna-Marie Wood who sang the National Anthem; Keynote Speaker James McDonald (RET) U.S. Navy U.S. Army, VFW Post 1324; music by Gardiner Middle School Band, directed by Cheri Rizzo; performance by the Clackamas Fire District Number 1 Bagpipers; and Randy Leasure performed TAPS for his 45th year in a row.
