ALVIN KELINSMITH RESIDENCE c.1905 -- Statement of Significance: Owner Alvin Kleinsmith owned a machine repair shop in Oregon City, where he fashioned ornamental iron work, repaired guns, bicycles, and tools. Despite its later alterations, or perhaps because of them, this house has a unique and appealing appearance. It also has significance for its age and is one of only a few older homes in this area of the city, which has been substantially re-developed because of Molalla Avenue.
