Required Licenses

Please note, applications will not be accepted by the City of Oregon City Building Division without verification of licenses. Read on to see the list.

Acceptable licenses are listed below:

You must possess:

  1. A State of Oregon Construction Contractor Board (CCB) license. 
  2. A State of Oregon Building Codes Division specialty licenses (BCD) where applicable.

and either:

  1. A City of Oregon City Business License. Please follow this link for licensing information.
    or
  2. A Metro License. Follow this link for Metro licensing information.

(Other than homeowners doing work on their own property that is not for rent, lease, or sale, all persons doing business within the city limits are required to have a City of Oregon City Business License or Metro License)
