2024 Adult Summer Reading Program
The Oregon City Public Library Adult Summer Reading Program is designed for adults of all abilities from ages 18 to 180. Participants can read any level book, from any collection, in any format they choose.
Starting June 1, you can sign up at the reference desk upstairs*. You will receive a Summer Reading tote bag and water bottle (while supplies last), bookmark, B-I-N-G-O card, word search, cryptogram puzzle, maze puzzle, Friends Bookstore coupon, and prize drawing entry slips that you will use to record your reading. Bring your reading slips in each week to be entered into our drawings.
There are four individual drawing pools you can enter. Put all your slips into one or distribute your slips between them. Weekly prize winners will be announced each week. The gift basket prizes will be announced the week of September 1. Participants who complete the B-I-N-G-O card, word search, or puzzles will receive an extra entry slip. Those who complete a B-I-N-G-O blackout win a prize from the treasure chest (only one B-I-N-G-O card per patron)!
*This year, we're also offering an online version for adults! If you would like to participate online instead, please visit orcity.beanstack.org.
