The Park Place Urbanization Plan is a corridor plan that provides guidance to private developers and the City on how to urbanize existing roadways within the Park Place Neighborhood. The goal was to retain the rural feel while providing urbanized infrastructure such as sidewalks and bicycle lanes where needed.
The Plan is separate from the Holcomb Pedestrian Enhancement Concept Plan and the Park Place Concept Plan, both which are targeted to improvements for Holcomb Boulevard and a large area south of Holcomb, respectively. The Park Place Urbanization Plan also contains a prioritization plan for sidewalk improvements which can be used to implement projects by the City if and when funds become available.
The Park Place Urbanization Plan was adopted by Ordinance 21-1016 on January 5, 2022.
