114 S. Center Street

W.W. BRADLEY RENTAL -- Statement of Significance: This house was a rental belonging to W.W. Bradley. Bradley ran a second-hand goods shop on Main Street and lived next door at 112 S. Center Street.

This 1-1/2 story bungalow is rectangular in plan with a broken-pitch gable roof. The eave is supported by simple brackets and a large dormer punctuates the front elevation. The front porch is full-width, with a solid shingled rail and tapered truncated posts. On the south side there is a square bay. Wood shingles clad the gables as marked by a string course, and there is a hooded and bracketed attic bay on the south side. Siding is round-edge drop and the windows are 1/1 wood double-hung surround by a square trim. At the front, there are two large picture windows. Off the south corner of the house is a period garage clad in the same materials as the house.
