W.S. AND LILLIE B. MAY RESIDENCE c.1916 -- Statement of Significance: No biographical information was found on W.S. or Lillie May, the original owners of this house. Except for the Sen. Linn Jones house on High Street (524 High), this house is the only house in Oregon City which has natural materials (river rock) so honestly incorporated into the structure. Because of this attribute and the classic bungalow form (low-pitched roof, etc.,), this house is significant.
