2025 Volunteer Recognition Awards
The City of Oregon City invites our volunteers to celebrate their outstanding contributions at the 2025 Volunteer Recognition Awards.
Date: Saturday, October 4
Time: 3 - 5 p.m.
Location: Pioneer Community Center, 615 5th Street, Oregon City
Enjoy a festive fall evening featuring seasonal refreshments, small bites, and a special awards presentation honoring the dedicated volunteers of the City of Oregon City. 2025 Volunteer AWARD Nominations
The City of Oregon City will be recognizing four outstanding volunteers at the upcoming Volunteer Recognition Awards—and we need your help!
The City is seeking nominations to honor individuals and volunteer organizations that have made a significant impact in Oregon City. If you know someone whose service deserves to be celebrated, please take a moment to complete the nomination form at the bottom of this page. Please note we are seeking nominations in four different categories:
Next Generation Volunteer
Honors an Oregon City volunteer under the age of 18 or a youth organization that has collaborated with City staff on a program, facility, or community project that has made a significant impact or improvement to the community within the past year.
Outstanding Committee Member
Honors an individual serving on one of the City of Oregon City’s committees, boards, or commissions. The recipient of this award has shown outstanding commitment to fulfilling their responsibilities, actively participating in meetings, contributing valuable insights, and collaborating with fellow members to make a lasting impact through their committee/board/commission work.
Volunteer Organization of the Year
Honors an organization that has made a significant collective impact during the past year through collaboration with City staff on a program, facility, or community project. The recipient organization has demonstrated exceptional teamwork, dedication, and effectiveness in working alongside City staff to implement initiatives that benefit the community.
Distinguished Volunteer of the Year
Honors an individual who has made a significant impact in the past year through collaboration with City staff on a program, facility, or community project. The recipient of this award has demonstrated exceptional dedication, passion, and impact through their volunteer efforts within the community. This prestigious honor recognizes their outstanding contributions, selfless service, and positive influence on others.
