Pre-Construction

Obtaining a Permit

Engineering may require the following items before any review can begin:

  • Civil Plans (See Note)
  • Stormwater Management Report (See Note)
  • Geotechnical Report (See Note)
  • Preliminary Cost Estimate (See Note)
  • 2.5% Design Review Fee

No permit can be approved until the following is provided:

  • Approval of Civil Engineering Plans and Stormwater Management Report
  • Permits from other agencies such as:
    • Clackamas County
    • State of Oregon
    • OR Department of Environmental Quality
    • USFW
    • USCOE
    • DSL
    • WES
    • National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)

Pre-Construction Meeting

Items that may be needed before a meeting will be scheduled:

The City may allow some of the documents to be provided at the pre-construction meeting

Items Needed to Begin Construction

It is the intent of the City to not issue permits in steps but to issue them as a package. Requests for individual permits such as erosion control, mass grading, demolition, clearing and grubbing will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and will be limited and not allowed in most cases.
