Increasing community involvement and engagement is an ongoing goal of the City Commission. The Communications and Community Engagement team is tasked with providing information to residents through multiple channels, including social media, email, Trail News, website and public events. C&CE also serves as the liaison between the City and the Citizen Involvement Committee and to the Youth Advisory Commission.
Oregon City has launched its own podcast: Inside City Hall. The purpose is to give residents a deeper look in the workings of the community than they would be able to get from other sources.
