GEORGIANA HART RESIDENCE c.1912 -- Statement of Significance: Georgianna Hart was the adopted daughter of a wealthy New York couple: her father may have been a famous chef in one of the grand hotels. Apparently both Mrs. Hart and her husband, first name unknown, were well-educated people, although long-time residents cannot recall the husband having been employed and speculate that the money for the household came from her family. They had two daughters: Florence, and the youngest, Mary, had a heart ailment and died in her early twenties. The house is significant for its age.
